Welina Aloha Kākou!
Hālau ‘Iolani is looking forward to starting our 2021-2022 school year. We have some great things in store and I am looking forward to building our program this year. The hula kāne classes in both the Upper School and Lower School will be developing strong skills in hula while also focusing on cultural enrichment to better their understanding of the amazing cultural heritage that Hawai‘i has to offer!

Lower School Registration
Boys can register for lower school hula from 4th-6th grade. The class focuses on basic hula skills and learning dances in both ancient and modern forms. The dances they learn tell the stories of legendary places and people as well as fun things like trains, cowboys and animals. In our lower school classes we also educate in matters relating to Hawaiian culture through crafting, excursions and games! An email will be sent out from Performing Arts regarding registration on 8/25/21.
